Pathway project begins

The pathway is officially underway! Here’s the first of the edges going in alongside the pond area. Please note that the site remains closed for the duration of the work, likely to take up to 8-10 weeks. Find out more in our previous post.

St Matthew’s School visit and project updates

As part of our efforts to engage the local community, we recently arranged a visit for around 30 young children from St. Matthew’s Church of England school when the bluebells were at their best. Nicola and David led the group on a nature walk and the class learned all about the history of the woodland, and had plenty of brilliant questions to ask.

New noticeboards erected and bluebells emerging

We’ve been busy behind the scenes, making sure everything is in place for when our funding lands. You may have seen our new noticeboards in the wood – one by the ramp to Wimbledon Common and one by the stream near the Rugby Club car park. We hope these provide you with up to date…
